Recently Volvo revealed their brand new cars – Volvo C30 Polestar with T5 Engine. The car has the bigger turbo engine than any other Volvo C30. The 2.5 litre engine power boosts up to 399bhp. Amazing isn’t it. Do you think this can be the next Bond car?? I don’t think that will happen but it is just a thought.
Ever since the new C30 has hit the market the sales have gone up for Volvo and now they even bettering the C30 with the help of Polestar. Polestar is Volvo’s performance and racing partner. They also helped Volvo win the Swedish Touring Car Championship in 2009. The new Volvo might even be faster than the Seat Leon Cupras, Honda Civic Type Rs, and the Golf GTIs. Meaning it will be doing something like 0-60 in 6 seconds may be. I would love to do a test drive on this new car to see if this is true or not.
The new C30 Polestar as they call it was on show onnd April 2010 in Sweden – Gothenburg motor show. People who went to visit them have given positive feedbacks on the car. The C30 polestar has 19 inch black alloys with Pirelli P Zero tyres whereas the old Volvo C30’s alloys only went up to 18 inches. It has upgraded springs and dampers to make sure the handling of the car is better than what it was before. I am sure after all this new dynamics and updates the car is definitely not going to be cheap. C30 R design of 2009 or 2008 model will cost you around £16,000 but the new monster from Volvo has to be around £20,000.
Many people who went to show said they are already saving up for this new stunning looking C30 Polestar and to be honest I might do the same. Few other people are saying they would rather buy a ford or a Citroen, Toyota or anything else that will help them save money in petrol as these cars runs longer than Volvo. Few are saying if they are expensive then they will still buy Audi TT Coupe than the C30 but everyone has different choices.
