At the moment the price of petrol is not looking good it is as much as Diesel now so in all honesty there is no point in buying petrol cars. I see more of my friends and family opting for diesel cars than petrol cars these days. I have read many car reviews in last few few weeks and have seen people write negative things about how much petrol their car drinks. It astonishing how much petrol costs in the UK in comparison to US, and the government is saying it will keep going up and up. I am just waiting for the hybrid cars to come to the market so I can have my hands on one of them.
Few days ago I read Mercedes SLK Roadster reviews on both diesel and petrol version. There was only one complaint for this car which was by the petrol person who said he has to keep fuelling every two weeks and he is tired to doing that so he will be trading his petrol with diesel in few weeks. The review by the diesel person was full of positive comments with no negativity.
You will be able to check how much diesel or petrol the car drinks by reading the reviews entered by people who are driving or have driven the car. In the UK many people are already opting to buy used cars which runs in diesel other than petrol. I think this is a wise idea as I would have done the same but I already have a car that runs in petrol. It also saves me a lot of money as it is very economical to drive. As I have a big family I drive a 2 litre Citroen Picasso. The full tank of this car lasts me 4 weeks which is incredible. I not sure but I think it approximately gives me 44 miles per gallon which is brilliant for a family car. So buy a diesel car, it lasts long and saves you money.
