Honda Civic Driving Experience

by Auto on June 29, 2010

Currently there is a buzz around the UK that the latest Honda Civic’s model is brilliant. To me it looks like a space craft to be honest. I much prefer the old shaped Honda Civics than the new cars. Honda cars are meant to be one of the most powerful and reliable cars as they are manufactured in Japan. Honda Motor Company are already one of the biggest and the largest productions of motorbikes and now they will surely be in the top five of car industries too. They have recently surpassed Chrysler to become the fourth largert automobile manufacturer.

That is a great achievement by Honda as usually the automobile market was covered by American and German manufacturers. Now they are in top four. In this post I will be concentrating on Civic model as in American it is the second longest running plate from a Japanese company just after Toyota Corolla introduced way back in 1968. So you can see how far Honda has gone. I still prefer the older version of old Civic models to be honest more than the new Civic models.

But both of these models are equally good to drive the new one being more speedy and powerful obviously. I just don’t like the shape of the new one. Honda are an economical car and on top of that Type R version of Civic does 0-60mph in 6.5 seconds. Recently I was given the honour of driving this car by one of the garages and write a review on it. I have written lots of car reviews in the past and for the first time I have found no criticism about a car except for the shape. It is honestly awesome to drive. The handling is brilliant. As I mentioned earlier on how fast the car is, the pick up speed feels like you are dropping from a rollercoaster. When you press the acceleration it actually surprises you on how fast it actually is. There are two cars I have loved driving one was the GT model of Alfa Romeo cars and now it’s Civic.
