Jaguar this month have released their brand new XJ model in London. The new XJ is the follow up of the older XF which just lik the XF, the XJ is required to make a lot of sales.
The sales that had been generated from the previous XF model helped the company to get out of a financial slump it was in. Jaguar are hoping that the new XJ will do the same job.
Tata, owners of both Jaguar and Land Rover, have announced that they are now losing £1 million a day on the companies.
Because they are trying to bring more sales to the company, Jaguar have changed the design of the XJ slightly. Although many current Jaguar owners are not happy with the new designs, Jaguar are standing by their efforts to make their new model more modern. They have done this because they are trying to attract a new, younger car buyer to their doors.
Jaguar have made the design more moden by making it more sleek and stylish. The designer director of Jaguar, Ian Callum said that the new design is “right and correct for the 21st Century” and they are now aiming to bring in a new type of buyer who wouldn’t have considered buying a Jaguar before.
Jaguar have also made the insides more modern with gadgets such as a virtual dashboard. This will give you the ability to change the layout of the dashboard, you will even be able to put a sat nav on it. The car also comes with a very large boot as well as a panormaic windscreen, and all that’s fitted into a light weight aluminium shell.
This all sounds very good, however, it all comes as a high price. The car starts at £50,000 for the standard model, going all the way up to £90,000 for the best model.
I don’t think this would really be an ideal car for driving lessons. Maybe if you went with an experienced Worthing driving tnstructor, it might be more successful.
