Auto Body Technology

Auto body technology information is often developed by a company that does research for hire and issues reports on the implications like the China Automobile Technology and Research Center (CATARC). This ‘think-tank’ is committed to providing reliable and accurate information to automobile manufacturer in regards to a number of aspects in auto making including auto body technology.

Although there are other think-factories like CATARC to provide a similar service, CATARC strives to offer the best service in order to establish technological standards that are not yet compulsory in the automotive industry.

The standards set by CATARC touch on many aspects of automotive industry like security, environmental protection and power consumption including the development of electric and hybrid-powered vehicles.

Setting a standard of power consumption will be the first attempt of its kind in the domestic auto industry. European practices and standards in auto body can provide useful information and guidelines from European Union standards.

Along the lines of this for hybrid vehicles and electronic control, CATARC is performing extensive research to set the ultimate standard in responsibility. The combination of new auto body technology and the set standards from the European Union can only evolve into the ultimate manufacturing information and guidelines available.

Because CATARC is based in China and the Chinese auto industry depends a great deal on combined commercial enterprise with foreign companies, the amount of technology that actually becomes the set standard may remain weak for some time.

As a result, some of the technology that is intended for improving the standard for automobile making might take a back seat to international competition. Fortunately, CATARC is finding auto body technology partners willing to split research and development within the United States.

Auto body technology is headed in a new direction since CATARC signed a written proposal of understanding with Technology Training in the US to work together in providing professional instruction and certification for auto services. With this joint venture, Technology Training, Inc. and CATARC will establish a number of training centers for post-sales services.
