Jaguar’s core buyers and picture has changed drastically over the decade. The Jaguar Mark I and Mark II of the 1950s and 1960s were austere and reserved. Then came the swinging sixties and Jaguar cars were the spirit of psychedelia, with the E-Type Jaguar becoming the standard for all the playboys to own and be seen in.
From then on the Jaguar has evolved in to more of a prestige automobile for the everyman; regardless of your background or upbringing, if you can afford a Jaguar then you will look cold in it. Which brings me back to my initial point; whatever your own personal social or political motivations, the one thing you require to must own a Jaguar is funds. And a lot of it as well.
